Let’s work together

At the heart of what I do is a belief that each of us is truly our own best guide.

You are the expert in you, so to speak. While it’s tempting to want advice and direction from someone else, it’s rarely as useful as you plumbing your own depths to find the right answers. And, in fact, living by other people’s advice is often what gets you stuck in the first place.

As I see it, my job is to help you learn to attune inward, to invite you to explore your own internal landscape, to learn to trust yourself and develop faith in your own innate wisdom. I partner with you along the way, encouraging and reassuring you as build up courage and resilience to live ever more authentically.

How does it work?

First, let’s  talk and see if it feels like we’re a fit. I’m a big believer that while I may be very good at what I do, I’m not the right person for everyone. And in order for you to truly get what you need, it’s important that you work with  someone who, deep in your gut, you sense is the ally you need.  I invite you to schedule a complimentary 30-minute conversation with me, and you can decide if you want to work with me.  You can decide then and there, or you can take as long as you like after our call. I’m a no-pressure kind of gal–it has to be right for you.

Should you decide you’d like to work together, I will send you some initial questions to get started with. We will set up our initial strategy session, decide on how often we will meet, and design our working relationship. While I have a deep well of resources, tools  and ideas that I draw from, the ultimate agenda and direction comes from you, which means we co-create how we will work together, what you need, what kind of structure would best serve you, and so forth.

My experience as both a therapist and as a coach has taught me that deep personal growth takes time.

While I’ve seen people make huge shifts in an instant, I also know that peeling back the layers to get at the bigger, juicy truths can take longer, and so most often I suggest a minimum commitment to yourself and to the coaching process of at least four months.  Along the way, we will communicate about our work together: are you getting what you need, are you growing, are you learning, and so forth. It’s important to me that you get real value from our work together. You can always stop at any time if you feel the need–though I will say, sometimes that point at which you want to bail is usually the time that you’re on the edge of something important, and wanting to quit is a trick your mind plays on you to keep you “safe”.

In any case: I deeply believe in this work. I think one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is the gift of self-discovery: of really knowing yourself, of trusting your own wisdom, of learning to live authentically, of following your own heart. I’d be honored to partner with you on that journey.

Initial 90 minute strategy session     $150

Two one hour sessions per month $225

Three one hour sessions per month $300

Individual 1 hour session  $150
